Join our Warehouse team as an Order Selector. This role supports the warehouse operations primarily by pulling orders for pickup and delivery, loading, and unloading cargo, placing products in proper storage locations, and any other duties as assigned by the Outbound Supervisor, while working safely following all warehouse policies and procedures.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: Full-Time; 40 hours/week, overtime as needed. No weekends!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform all duties in a safe manner, follow all safety rules as listed within the safety manual, and comply with any additional supervisory communication relating to safety practices and procedures. Ability to help meet yearly Pounds per Hour goals Perform warehouse duties to include pulling, filling, and loading orders as needed to accomplish daily warehouse goals. Audit orders filled from pick lists for accuracy and safe practices. Report discrepancies to the Outbound Supervisor. Load and unload cargo in accordance with safe load practices. Always maintain 100% safe floor conditions in all areas of the warehouse. Restock products as needed, if directed to do so by the Material Handling Specialist. Report any inventory discrepancies discovered during picking to the Outbound Supervisor. Provide outstanding customer service to any guests in the distribution center. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the food bank warehouse. Follow safety regulations relating to OSHA or other company-related regulations. Handle food safely and complete food safety training within the first 6 months of employment. Maintain Food Safety Certification. Record all product moves with handheld or lift-mounted barcode reading terminals. Process accurate and appropriate paperwork. Assist with the resolution of inventory discrepancies. Must Have:

Electric forklift and pallet jack experience. Understanding inventory principles. Ability to work effectively with designated computer software (Windows and Navision). Ability to perform basic mathematics with strong spatial relations and conceptual capabilities. Ability to adapt to varied work requirements and be flexible. Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and volunteers. Be able to effectively cross-train and perform effectively in any other Level 2 positions. Ability to both speak and write in English. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

A combination of education and experience generally attained through a High School diploma or equivalent experience and previous warehouse experience. Customer Service experience.
Leadership abilities. Bilingual in other languages is highly desired, (Spanish, Somali, Hmong).

Starting Pay Rate: $20 USD or more hourly / Dependent on Qualifications and Experience.
