Job Overview Business is continually increasing and we need a Wood Door Fabricator to join our team and help grow the division. We have a wide range of skills needed for this group; so there would be plenty of room to increase your skills and move into more detailed positions in the future.

Working Conditions Manufacturing/warehouse environment with constant exposure to machine noise and wood dust; periodic exposure to glue/adhesives. All day on your feet including; bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and twisting. Lift 10-50lbs regularly, and 100lbs+, occasionally.

Responsibilities

Pull material from stock inventory for orders Install metal and glass kits into wood slab doors Operate casing cutting machine and assemble casing Apply casing to prehung door units Operate miter mite machine Install wood stop on door frames Pull completed products needed to ship customer orders or transfer to other TCH locations Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Able to accurately read and interpret a tape measure or ruler and figure fractions Basic identification of wood species Basic understanding of door and frame components Safe operation of various shop tools (nail guns, power miter saw, planer sander, etc.) Ability to read, understand and follow instruction on shop orders and sales orders Self-motivated, detail-oriented and eager to learn new skills Able to communicate clearly, effectively and courteously with your team Forklift certification or willingness to be certified Favorable results from a drug screen and physical
