Lead and manage the ongoing operations and personnel components of the Manufacturing Engineering Team . Plan, coordinate and delegate activities involved in the design, application and development of a Machinery and company specific automation. Drive on-time completion of projects and ensure that operational machines are running. Lead team of Engineers in a way that promotes longevity, company pride and professional growth.
Responsibilities
• Manage work load distribution and define department schedules to insure on-time completion of group activities. • Drive resolution of highly complex internal customer service issues. • Work with Operations and sometimes Sales to develop enhanced capabilities of our equipment. • Translate operational needs and applications into defined machine specifications, and ensure the on-time delivery • Work with internal customers and teams to share innovative ideas and new product ideas that may arise during the normal course of operations. • Provide technical support on product design and construction to other departments as needed • Establish/implement group policies and procedures and lead group efforts to achieve desired results. • Ensure department personnel are receiving all training and productivity tools necessary to effectively perform their duties. • Manage internal relationship with other functional departments as well as senior management.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in engineering focus • 10 years of related industry experience • 2 years of leading teams in a manufacturing setting
