- Supervise & run survey crew daily operations
- Ability to perform and prepare ALTA/NSPS, Boundary, Topographic and construction layout surveys
- Knowledge of what physical feature locaiton eeds are required to help resolve boundary location
- Operating GPS and Total Stations to collect site information and help calculate boundary (we have Topcon Brand instruments)
- Following instructions/work descriptions given by project managers
- Manage crew in a professional manner and help train them to become future crew chiefs
- Extended hours while on site may be necessary to save additional site trips (overtime is paid)
- Ability to travel and stay overnight. (Crews would be rotated and does not happen very often)

Qualifications
- 10+ years of land surveying experience
- Prior knowledge of survey grade GPS equipment and Total stations
- Enjoy working outside in all the elements and terrain year round
- Ability to work well and communicate with clients, public and co-workers
- Considerable computer knowledge and abilities
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, ability to swing 8 pound maul while on-site staking, ice removal and snow shoveling in winter
- Valid Class D Drivers License
- Compute and provide construction layout
