Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time Commercial Hardware Estimator to estimate on our commercial projects.
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES
Estimating/purchasing Doors, Frame, Hardware packages for Commercial Construction projects Review contract documents Strategize with salesperson on what to bid and how to bid it Prepare detailed take-off and estimates, including material, freight, engineering, and installation costs Send out manufacturer's quotes in a timely manner Coordinate and price buyouts
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Work requires knowledge of the construction industry, specific product knowledge of doors, frames and hardware, codes, standards, architectural drawings, estimation, and specifications Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to work extra hours when needed Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Office 365, specifically Excel Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines Excellent mathematical aptitude, problem solving Knowledge of E-Mullion and T.O.A.D. Visual Assisted Take Off Software helpful Valid driver's license
