Ramsey County Small Business Relief Fund

Ramsey County has funds remaining from the State of Minnesota to provide Relief Grants to Local Businesses that were impacted by an executive order related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to serve as many businesses as possible, those who have previously received an award from Ramsey County are ineligible.
In the event of an over subscription of eligible applications, Ramsey County will perform a random selection process after the application period closes.
Open: February 1, 2021 at 8am Closes: February 5, 2021 at 11:59pm
Estimated Funds available: $~3 M
Review of applications for eligibility: Begins February 8, 2021; Award of grants: by March 15, 2021

Must be a locally owned and operated business or organization with a physical establishment in Ramsey County or resident of Ramsey County Must not have any current tax liens on record with the secretary of state as of the time of application Have been impacted by an executive order related to the COVID-19 pandemic Home-based businesses must document that the business is a primary source of income Must be licensed and in good standing, if applicable Must demonstrate a significant loss in revenue since March 15 (demonstrate at least 30% revenue decline, no credit score or collateral requirements apply |
Must be a locally owned and operated business or organization with a physical establishment in Ramsey County Must not have any current tax liens on record with the secretary of state as of the time of application Have been impacted by an executive order related to the COVID-19 pandemic Must have at least one employee in addition to the owner not more than 75 employees Nonprofits, nonprofit arts organizations, nonprofit museums, and nonprofit fitness centers, and member-based associations. Must be licensed and in good standing, if applicable Must demonstrate a significant loss in revenue since March 15 (no credit score or collateral requirements apply) |
