The City of Arden Hills has developed a Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program that will provide $150,000 in CARES Act Funds for local businesses adversely impacted by COVID-19. The application window has been extended through Tuesday, October 6 and the minimum number of employees has been reduced from three (3) to one (1).  Complete applications will be considered and awarded on a first-come basis.

Funds may be used to help businesses continue their operations, preserve employment and prevent business closures in an effort to encourage long-term economic vitality in Arden Hills.

The program would provide locally-owned and operated businesses with an emergency grant of up to $5,000.

To be eligible to receive a grant, a business must demonstrate loss due to COVID-19 and meet the eligibility requirements and program parameters.

  • Complete and submit a Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Application (PDF) via email, or by mail or drop off to: Arden Hills City Hall, 1245 W Highway 96, Arden Hills, MN, 55112.
  • Provide proof of application submittal, acceptance, approval and/or denial of state and federal emergency financing programs.
  • If awarded funds, the applicant would be required to sign an acknowledgment agreement under which the applicant agrees to spend the awarded funds on eligible uses.
